Our client in the aerospace sector is seeking an experienced software developer to join their internal team and contribute to the evolution of their business applications. The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking, precision, and the ability to work on existing systems while driving their improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, enhance, and maintain the company’s internal applications
- Review existing code to ensure smooth integration of new features
- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment
- Assist with the integration of new tools and data migration
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure performance and reliability
- Gather user requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions
- Troubleshoot technical issues, fix bugs, and optimize system performance
- Document and maintain technical specifications
- Collaborate closely with operations, IT, and management teams
- Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI
- Provide expertise on technology choices and software architecture
- Promote best development practices and code quality
Required Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years of software development experience in a corporate environment, preferably in manufacturing or aerospace
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core using Visual Studio
- Proven experience with MSSQL databases and SSIS
- Web development skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, Bootstrap
- Experience building dashboards with Power BI
- Ability to work with legacy and complex systems
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
Assets / Nice-to-Haves
- Linux knowledge (Red Hat)
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems or experience in manufacturing/logistics environments
- Experience with data integration and automation
- Bilingual in French and English
