Overview
Our client, a company in the aerospace industry located on the North Shore, is seeking a Financial Analyst.
Position Summary
The incumbent is responsible for key financial activities, including financial analysis, the monthly close process, and the preparation of financial reports for multiple operational sites.
Responsibilities
Accounting
- Perform the monthly close process.
- Oversee the preparation of annual budgets for multiple sites, including follow-ups with department leaders.
- Submit financial and operational data on a regular basis.
- Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Analyze balance sheet accounts in collaboration with internal teams and corporate partners.
- Monitor capital expenditures and validate the financial aspects of investment projects.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives across key business areas.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
Professional Designation

Experience
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
