CNC Machinist
Our client in the manufacturing industry, a well-established manufacturer serving the North American utilities market, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their growing team. Known for their production expertise, collaborative environment, and passion for new challenges, they are offering a permanent full-time position.
Schedule:
• Monday to Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Friday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to established quality, safety, and production standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and schematics to determine optimal machining operations.
• Program and transfer CNC programs into machine controllers.
• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Maintain machine tools and measuring instruments.
• Fabricate tools, fixtures, and jigs required for production.
• Complete production and inspection documentation accurately.
• Ensure proper functioning of CNC equipment.
• Follow and uphold safety and quality policies at all times.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Qualifications & Knowledge:
• DEP in CNC machining completed or in progress.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing (an asset).
• Basic knowledge of technical drawing interpretation.
• Strong communication skills in French (spoken: advanced, written: intermediate).
