CNC Machinist
Our client, a manufacturing company located on the West Island of Montreal, is currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team.

Profile sought
- 3 to 5 years of experience in precision machining
- Valid Canadian residency or work permit in good standing
- Experience with CNC machines (lathe and/or milling machine)
- Ability to confidently operate a vertical milling machine or lathe
- Familiarity with Haas equipment (an asset)
- Experience in CNC setup, adjustment, and calibration
- Strong knowledge of cutting tools and their usage
- Ability to read technical drawings and identify potential errors
- Ability to verify dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of commonly used industrial materials (aluminum, brass, stainless steel, etc.)
- Experience producing small, high-precision mechanical parts

- Ability to use computer tools for data entry and technical information retrieval
- Ability to adjust machine parameters and correct production deviations
- Ability to complete complex assignments within reasonable timeframes
- Strong discipline in following work instructions

Education and requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement)
- 3 to 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience (mandatory)
- Ability to read technical English (an asset)
- Bilingual French/English (an asset, but not required)
