We are currently seeking a Conventional Machinist to join a well-established manufacturing company offering a stable and team-oriented work environment. The schedule allows for extended weekends, with Friday afternoons off.
The company continues to grow and is looking to add a motivated and detail-oriented individual to its production team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate various conventional machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and drill presses to manufacture metal parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Prepare equipment, tooling, and materials required for production.
• Perform quality inspections and verify part accuracy using measuring instruments and quality control methods.
• Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain product quality and improve production efficiency.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and collaborate with the machining team to improve manufacturing processes.
Required Qualifications:
• Previous experience in conventional machining.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and manufacturing drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring tools and quality control standards.
• Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and ability to work in a production environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with good problem-solving abilities.
Education:
• Vocational diploma (DEP) in Machining or equivalent training.
