Our client, a manufacturing company specializing in the design and production of technical products for the utilities sector, is currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join their evening production team.

Position Details
- Status: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week)
- Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
- Friday: 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the CNC Supervisor, the machinist is responsible for machining parts using CNC equipment.
- Machine parts according to technical specifications and quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings
- Determine work methods, setups, and optimal machining sequences
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines
- Perform necessary adjustments and ensure proper equipment operation
- Carry out basic maintenance of machines and measuring instruments
- Manufacture tools and/or fixtures as required
- Complete production and inspection documentation
- Ensure compliance with production, quality, and safety standards
- Follow internal policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as required
Profile Sought
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (an asset)
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Training in CNC machining (ASP completed or in progress)

Requirements
- Education: Vocational diploma (DEP) completed
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role
- Languages:

Compensation
- Salary: $25.00 to $32.87 per hour
