Position Overview
The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality and compliance throughout the manufacturing process. This includes inspection, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives within a structured quality system.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify that manufactured components meet established quality standards and internal procedures
- Compile and maintain quality documentation (FAI reports, certifications, non-conformance reports, etc.)
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) on initial production runs
- Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
- Analyze and interpret measurement data using CMMs, laser trackers, or 3D scanning equipment
- Investigate and manage non-conformities, ensuring proper resolution
- Identify potential production issues and escalate risks proactively
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate internal and external documentation in compliance with the company’s quality system
- Carry out responsibilities in alignment with company values, standards, and ethical guidelines
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
- Diploma in machining techniques (DEP) with CNC specialization, industrial drafting, or
- College diploma (DEC) in mechanical engineering, aerospace manufacturing, or a related field
- Equivalent experience within a manufacturing environment will also be considered
