Welder-Assembler Position in Montreal

Our client, a precision manufacturing company recognized for innovation and quality, is looking for a Welder-Assembler to join its production team.

Your Responsibilities

• Assemble and weld metal parts and components according to technical drawings, plans, or jigs.
• Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, arc, semi-automatic) using the appropriate equipment.
• Adjust, fit, straighten, and braze metal parts as needed.
• Verify weld quality and ensure assemblies meet fabrication standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workstation while respecting health and safety rules.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Carry out any other related tasks assigned by the production supervisor.

Profile We’re Looking For

• Experience: 1–3 years in welding/assembly.
• Education: DEP in Welding and Fitting (or equivalent).
• Skills:
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of materials (metallurgy, resistance, surface treatments), assembly methods, and weld inspection.
• Awareness of risks related to welding, cutting, material handling, and chemical products.
• Recognized for teamwork, resourcefulness, precision, and attention to detail.
• French comprehension required.
