Our client, a world leader in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) is looking for an IT Director. The company designs, develops, manufactures and distributes low-cost products and technologies to industries ranging from automotive to agriculture. Its products and technologies have received several recognition awards. In addition, the company is experiencing rapid success and growth with its telemetry products for Canadian and international markets.
Main responsibilities
- Plan, deploy and ensure the IT security of systems according to the ISO 27 001 standard
- Plan and deploy physical IT infrastructures and hybrid cloud in Canada and elsewhere in the world
- Work closely with the Chief Technology Officer and the software development team to establish present and future application needs
- Be responsible for IT security compliance and compliance monitoring (employee training, log review, audits)
- Organize and develop IT team projects in support of operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or the equivalent of a DEC + 20 years of experience in IT
- 15 years of experience in similar tasks as head of an IT department in a fast-growing organization in an international context
- Experience in network and cybersecurity infrastructure design
- Demonstrated experience building teams and managing people
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
- Rigorous in follow-ups, solutions oriented approach
- Exceptional ability to adapt in a context of rapid business growth
- Results oriented and great ability to navigate ambiguity and make complex decisions with limited information
- Skills in problem analysis and diagnosis
- Orientation towards the internal customers it serves
- Ability to verbalize complex ideas to a varied audience
- Ability to maintain harmonious relationships in a multicultural context
- Knowledge and application of ISO 27.001 industry standards
- Microsoft Hyper-V, Virtual Switch, Cluster Failover, MPIO, HA environment
- Knowledge of ONTAP Netapp centralized storage, iSCSI LUN and CIFS
- Advanced domain controller management, FRS, DFS, WSUS, LDAP, FQDN, Azure, URP, Trust relationship
- Firewall, switches, dynamic routing, IPSEC VPN, MFA VPN, Radius
- O365 environment, Sharepoint, HPE, iLo, SNMP, Sentry.io, Victoriametrics, Grafana
- Cisco ASDM-ISM, IOS CLI Environment
- SQL Server, SQL Agent, Replication, Log shipping
- OVH Cloud, AWS
