Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain and execute clear, well written, testing plans covering:
- System Test
- - Sanity Testing
- - Smoke Testing
- Regression Test
- Performance Test
- Can clearly identify and recognize bug patterns and business logic errors
- Able to clearly document repro steps of bugs for developers to be able to fix bugs effectively
- Define a path for exploratory testing, and execute upon it between releases for both existing products/modules and upcoming ones
- Able to manage their time well between releases and within each Sprint to organize their test plans, do exploratory testing, follow up on
bugs that haven’t been resolved
- Comfortable testing and documenting their test results for various platforms, namely:
- - Web (Firefox/Chrome/Safari)
- - Android
- - iOS
You currently have/are:
- Specialized higher education and/or significant experience in Quality Assurance
- Very strong analytical and written communication skills
- Able to discuss and help developers determine the root cause of uncovered problems and bugs
- Highly rigorous in your work methodology
- Capacity to quickly learn and get familiar with the ins and outs of multiple interconnected systems
- (Bonus) experience testing REST API responses and automating your tests in solutions like POSTMAN
