Key responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Take accurate measurements and prepare materials for cutting and machining operations
- Select and operate appropriate equipment (lathe, milling machine, shaping machine, grinder, etc.)
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and carry out basic repairs when needed
- Ensure work is completed with precision and adherence to quality standards
Profile sought
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- DEP in machining or equivalent experience in a similar role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Solid understanding of conventional machining processes
