IT Business Analyst
We are currently seeking an IT Business Analyst for our client, an stablished (25+ years) company specializing in the development, design, and distribution of equipment.
Reporting to the IT Director, the Business Analyst will face the following challenges:
Project Management: • Participate in the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including budgets, schedules, and required resources. • Ensure coordination between the various teams involved in the projects.
Needs Analysis: • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document functional and technical requirements. • Analyze existing processes and propose improvements to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Solution Development: • Work closely with software developers to design, develop, and deploy IT solutions that meet identified needs. • Test and validate developed solutions to ensure they meet requirements.
Support and Training: • Provide functional support to end-users and resolve technical issues related to applications and systems. • Train users on new applications and deployed features.
Documentation: • Write detailed functional specifications and user manuals. • Document the implemented processes and technical solutions.
Qualifications and Experience: • DEC or BAC in management information systems, software engineering, information systems, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT business analyst in a manufacturing environment. • Proven experience in IT project management. • Relevant experience in business process analysis for IT solutions. • Bilingual in both spoken and written French and English
Technical Skills: • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Strong knowledge of quality control processes, testing, and solution validation. • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Visio, Project, etc.) and DevOps. • Knowledge of ERP systems and production management software is nice to have. • Quick learner with a strong interest in new technologies. • Project management certification is a plus. • Familiarity with Microsoft Great Plains, Microsoft CRM, SQL.
