Key responsibilities include:
Feeding, watering, and monitoring livestock (cattle, poultry, and other animals). Assisting with cleaning barns, pens, and animal housing facilities. Observing animal health and reporting signs of illness or injury. Assisting with breeding, calving, or lambing as required. Operating basic farm equipment and tools safely. Maintaining records of livestock and farm activities. Requirements To succeed in this role, candidates should have the following qualifications and attributes:
Previous farm or livestock handling experience is an asset, but on-the-job training is provided. Ability to work in all weather conditions. Physically fit, with the ability to lift and carry heavy loads. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Basic English or French communication skills (French is an asset in Quebec).
