Mobile (Android / iOS) Developer

We are currently looking for a cross-platform mobile developer for a SaaS company located in Montreal.

Responsibilities:

• Add new features to existing applications written in Swift and/or Kotlin
• Add new features to existing applications written in React Native
• Refactor our existing native applications to improve code quality and fix bugs
• Contribute to the idea pool of future functionality to implement in our Mobile applications
• Work with the web development team to synchronize and stagger required development efforts for mobile features that have dependencies with our web-based REST APIs
• Assist in improving our ability to rapidly debugging issues with mobile applications

You currently have/are:

• Specialized higher education (i.e. Software Engineering or Computer Science) and/or significant experience in Software Development and Mobile development
• Experience developing mobile applications in Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android)
• Comfortable working with MacOS for development purposes
• Well versed in Git (both GUI and command line) and best practices in version control for mobile development
• Very strong analytical and written communication skills
• Capacity to quickly learn and get familiar with the ins and outs of multiple interconnected systems
• Experience working with REST API responses
• (Bonus) Experience developing mobile applications in React Native
• (Bonus) Experience working with NoSQL data storage (i.e. MongoDB, Firestore)
• (Bonus) Familiar with the Atlassian product suite (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence)
