Position Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack computer vision software for industrial inspection and robotics, including databases, user interfaces, and integration with hardware like cameras, robots, PLCs, sensors, and actuators.
- Create computer vision algorithms for image processing and AI to assist with quality control and guide autonomous robots.
- Test and integrate computer vision systems in the lab, including unit tests, integration testing, and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Assist with the installation and testing of computer vision systems at customer sites.
- Help improve and maintain software development and testing tools.
Position Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong experience with C# .NET
- At least five years of experience developing C# desktop and/or web applications in Windows and/or Linux environments, including through to commercialization
- Familiarity with at least one other programming language besides C#, ideally C++ or Python
- Understanding of design patterns and best practices in software architecture, especially MVVM and SOLID
- Experience with Git or similar version control systems
- Proficient in both English and French (functional)
- Ability to work on-site two days per week
Position Nice to Have
- Knowledge of web development, particularly Blazor
- Experience with image processing libraries like OpenCV, MVTec Halcon, or Matrox MIL
- Familiar with cloud environments, particularly AWS EC2 and S3
- Understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning
- Experience with tools like TensorFlow and Keras for Machine Learning and Deep Learning
