Our client, a well-established accounting firm, is seeking an experienced professional with 3 to 7 years of accounting expertise to join their team as a Senior Accountant/Auditor. With over 30 years of dedication to their clients, they take pride in providing strategic financial guidance to help businesses grow and succeed.

Their diverse client base, serving both French and English-speaking businesses, consists mainly of SMEs across the Greater Montreal and Laval areas. The firm specializes in assurance, tax, and financial advisory services, working with clients from various industries, including manufacturing, retail, professional services, and non-profit organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, note disclosures, and working papers for review and audit engagements.
  • Complete compilation (Notice to Reader) engagements.
  • Perform general accounting tasks as needed to finalize files.
  • Prepare and review federal and provincial reports and remittances (DAS, GST/QST, CNESST).
  • Supervise and mentor staff members.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or CPA Auditor designation.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in public accounting or taxation.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Caseware/Caseview, Taxprep, or DT Max.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills in French and English (written & spoken).
