We are seeking a Level II NDT Technician specialized in Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI/PT) to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing inspections, ensuring product quality, and supporting continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate the inspection darkroom in accordance with standards
- Communicate with Level III technicians regarding non-conformities on specific parts
- Develop and apply inspection techniques to ensure product quality and efficiency
- Interpret inspection results and accurately document findings
- Perform equipment calibration and routine verification
- Conduct liquid penetrant tests in accordance with applicable standards and specifications
- Evaluate results and determine compliance of inspected parts
- Compile test data and prepare detailed inspection reports
- Provide on-the-job guidance and support to Level I technicians
- Perform all duties related to Level I inspection as required
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and procedures
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certification as a Level II NDT Technician (PT/LPI)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fluorescent penetrant inspection
- Strong understanding of inspection standards and quality requirements
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- English required
Education
- Technical diploma (DEC) or equivalent experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $31 to $37.50 per hour
- Full-time, permanent position (40 hours/week)
