Our client, a company specialized in high-precision aerospace machining, is seeking a Conventional Machinist to join their team in Laval. You will contribute to the production of critical metal components used in the design of more efficient, lighter, and fuel-efficient aircraft.

Position: Conventional Machinist
Laval (on-site)
Day shift: Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Operate conventional (non-CNC) machines.
- Perform simple to complex setups on conventional milling machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, tolerances, and work instructions.
- Perform necessary adjustments, setups, and repairs.
- Install, adjust, and calibrate cutting tools.
- Measure and validate the conformity of machined parts.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams.
- Select appropriate cutting tools based on the required operations.

Requirements
- DEP (vocational diploma) in Machining.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in conventional machining.
- Experience with conventional milling machines.
- Proficiency with measuring instruments (micrometer, caliper, gauges, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of CNC machining (an asset).
Compensation & Benefits
