Android Developer
Role: Android Developer Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid 3days Onsite, 2 days Remote) Duration: 6 Months with possible extensions Contract: C2C/FTE Visa: OWP/PR/CITIZEN
Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject. • Minimum 5 years of experience in Android app development and Java and Kotlin development (Core Java, J2EE, Kotlin etc.) • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes. Key Responsibilities: • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and Java. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. • Work with outside data sources and APIs. • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. • Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support). • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
